Error during SUM-Phase: PREP_EXTENSION/RUN_S4H_PRE_CHECK_CONS

Hi guys,

We are in the process of Migrating an ERP 6 EHP7 System to S/4HANA 1511.

During SUM Phase whichs executes Pre-conversion checks I'm stuck with this error

I have applied all Notes mentioned in Note 2182725 - S4TC Delivery of the SAP S/4HANA System Conversion Checks.

SUM phase its showing the following error.

Why is asking for Target Release S4CORE 101 SP 0000 When Maintenance Planner calculated for S4CORE 100 SP 0001

Also target release ECC-DIMP 999 SP 99 does not look valid.

I found out these errors are related to Notes  2185960 and 2194272 which contains Check Classes, but couldnt find out why the its showing that message

Hope anyone faced this and could provide some help on how to overcome this.

please have a look to note 2310116 - Report R_S4_PRE_TRANSITION_CHECKS return errors on ECC-DIMP

Indeed, I had to apply SAP Note 2310116 and also Update all available S4TC notes since one of them was outdated.

Can someone from SAP basis team mention this note in the main "S4TC"-note?:

2182725 - S4TC Delivery of the SAP S/4HANA System Conversion Checks

It should definitely be a sideeffect note of 2182725.

The note you mentioned is now in status "not released" for over a week. I hope it gets released really soon!

Hi all,

I am also facing the error "The target release 100 SP 0000 is lower than the required minimum target release 101 SP 0000" in R_S4_PRE_TRANSITION_CHECKS and the latest sap notes have been applied.

While pending OSS to feedback, want to know if anyone have a solution for this ?

Hi Shing

Are you upgrading to S/4HANA FPS 01 or 00? On your log it says "The target release 100 SP 0000" and I think the minimun is PFS 01

Hi Martin,

The target is S4CORE 100 SP01, as generated from the maint. planner.

Somehow the pre conversion checks program is checking against S4CORE 101, which has not been even released yet i believe.

Hi We have the same problem. "The target release 100 SP 0002 is lower than the required minimum target release 101 SP 0000" We are also waiting for response from SAP.... Do you already have an answer? Or you have a solution? Best Niick

HI Niick.

There arena couple of notes missing from S4TC Main Note. Perform a Note search for all "S4TC" Notes in and after applying all of them it should fix the issue
