SAP ECC/SCM

I am pretty new to SAP and I'm trying to manager out material masters so that when I look in SCM I can see requisitions for materials in their correct quantities and sizes.

For example we have around 80 material codes, some with only one dedicated suppliers and others with two. It's down to type of material really, plastic or cardboard.

Vendor 1 - Cardboard Supplier

  • 9 Weeks lead time from China
  • 6,528 half-size cardboard tubes per pallet (minimum load 9 pallets which is half a container 58,752 tubes, maximum 18 pallets full container 117,504 tubes)
  • 3,264 full-size cardboard tubes per pallet (minimum load 9 pallets which is half a container 29,276 tubes, maximum 18 pallets full container 58,752 tubes)

Vendor 2 - Cardboard Supplier

  • 1 week to 10 days lead time from local vendor
  • 2,808 tubes per pallet (only supply half-size tubes)
  • Maximum load 30-35 pallets on a weekly basis, minimum 30 pallet order. Although sometimes this can change if they have to cover demand for vacation or shutdown.

Vendor 1 - Plastic Supplier (One main supplier)

  • 1 week to 10 days lead time from local vendor
  • 8,160 tubes per pallet half-size plastic tubes
  • 4,080 tubes per pallet full-size plastic tubes
  • Max/Min 20 pallet order on a weekly basis

Vendor 2 - Plastic Tubes Recycled (One vendor for recycling purposes)

  • Recycle half-size and full-size plastic tubes after used in process
  • They are brought back into stock again and vendor paid after goods receipt and invoicing for their services
  • 4,704 tubes per pallet (recycled half-size plastic tubes)
  • 2,352 tubes per pallet (recycled full-size plastic tubes)

Can someone help me or explain to me how I would work these out in SAP

  1. MRP 1 Lot Size (All Data)
  2. MRP 2 Net Requirements Calculations (All Data)
  3. Availability Check (All Data)

Some of the cardboard tubes have 2 vendors and some have only 1, therefore materials for more than 1 have multiple outline agreements. Plastic only has 2 outline agreements for two vendors, one for supply and other for servicing (recycling)

Thank you very much for your time and any help you can put forth.

Regards

Aaron
