No longer possible to launch SAP Lumira

Hello,

Using SAP Lumira Desktop 1.29 I tried to open an Excel file of 90 Mb.

But opening this file failed because several tabs contains text and no real data.

I stopped Lumira by cliqing the chekbox of the window application.

By now Lumira is no longer able to launch.

I desinstalled the application and reinstalled.

But impossible to start the application again and I get the error message :

  • An error has occured. See the log file
    C:\users\username\.sapvi\workspace\.metadata\.log

Does somebody met this error ?

Is there a way to clean the installation and restart from scratch ?

Hi Richard

Can you delete folders under C:\users\username\.sapvi\workspace\ and try . ( take backup before delete) .


Check SAP Note 2124755 - Unableto Launch Lumira Desktop due to Java Access Bridge Issue .

If it doesn't work , uninstall product and delete .sapvi folder and clear Registry keys related to Lumira and try .

Deleting folders under C:\users\username\.sapvi\workspace\ solve the problem.

Can u delete  .sapvi directory and also if possible temp directory of lumira and try relaunching it?

If it does not work and then please read install product and try

Are you runny synch agent?
