Archiving DMS documents Original

Hello,

For the DIRs that have originals stored in a content server, how is it handled by the archiving process? Once such a DIR is archived by using the standard SAP programs, does the original still reside on the content server? Or is it deleted and recreated in the archive content repository.

Hi Rahul,

Only DIR will get archiving using standard program. Attachments are not archived.

You can migrate these attachments to Archive server storage using ABAP program.
