Hi

We know that condition tables in pricing starts with the letter 'A' but then why it doesn't show up when we are using it in Access Sequences or in other places?

Thanks & Regards

A is usage of the condition table and 3char number is table number. Sap concatenates usage and number to exact table number. In pricing access sequence, only condition tables with usage A are displayed and can be used, whereas in output access sequence, only condition tables with usage B are displayed and can be used, in listing/exclusion access sequence, only condition tables with usage G are displayed and can be used, etc.

Thank you Bilgin for the answer. But can you please elaborate a little ?

Do you mean that say if we create a pricing cond. table A667 then SAP concatenates the usage 'A' and table number '667' to the same number '667'?

If that is not the case then why I see everytime  a condition table  is created, for example A778 then that same 778 is displayed as the Cond table number. That means in simple words SAP just removes the letter 'A' when it shows the condition table numbers in the zoom window? Also , can the same table number for example "999" can be present  for all the usages 'A' ,'B' 'G'  ie for pricing, output & listing/exclusion access sequences?

Hope you got me.

Thanks & Regards

Hello Rajat,

Your understanding is correct. Wish you create Condition Table 667 for Pricing, SAP uses A667 to store the Condition Records you create for the Access.

Yes. It is possible to have Pricing Condition Table A667 and Output Condition Table as B667.

Also hope you know that Access Sequences are Cross client and will be available in all the clients on a system.

Thanks,

Rajat,

Both members have given some good information, explanation. I will give a non SAP example which might make things easy and simple to related to -

In a society, there are several buildings, take two buildings A and B.

Both these have flat 101.

When they receive a letter, the address comes with A-101 or B-101.

SAP:

Suppose you go to VK11 and create a condition record for table 905.

And then you go to VBO1 and create a rebate condition record for table 905.

If you want to see the details of 905, how will SAP know you want to view the pricing or rebate condition record? For this, in SE16N, you need to give:

for pricing A905

and for rebate KOTE905
