Hi,
In our GRC system we have implemented the HR Triggers for hiring and leaving cases. When a staff leaves, system automatically delimits the userid in ECC and GRC system.Sometimes, due to certain reasons the staff's leaving date changes. We have implemented the HR Trigger to capture these
changes but when the request is created in GRC it doesn't capture the dates details correctly.
Example:
1. Let's say staff was hired from 01.01.2016 and left on 10.04.2016
2. Change the leaving date (e.g. if it was 10.04.2016 originally change it to 15.04.2016)
3. GRC request is created
4. Dates captured in the GRC request are as follows:
Start date = 10.04.2016 and End date = 14.04.2016
5. When this request is processed, it updates the userid in ECC,GRC system
with Start date = 10.04.2016 and End date = 14.04.2016 which is not correct as staff is valid from 01.01.2016. It should have been changed as follows
01.01.2016 to 14.04.2016
The request type associated with the action has following actions:
1. Change User
2. Delete User
Any inputs on what can be wrong or how to capture the correct dates in GRC request? I have tried changing the actions in request type to Only "Change User". When I do that the end date is always captured as 31.12.9999 so not helpful.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Ravi
Dear Ravi,
What is the Hiring Date maintained as in HR System? Also, when the HR Hiring Request is raised, it is raised as "HR Hiring Request Type" and not as Change/Delete User Type. Can you please explain us in more detail what are you trying to acheive?

Fazil

Hi Fazil,
The hiring date is 01.01.2016. There is no action like "HR Hiring Request Type". Are you sure you are checking at the correct place?
We are simply trying to change the end date of a user who has already resigned. Due to some reasons he has agreed to stay back for some more time to his leaving date has to be extended.

Ravi
