VC with WM

Hi,

      How can we integrate variants being stored in the warehouse bins ? I cannot find any documentation on sap help or on the net around this. Eg how do I putaway a variant with a specific config into a bin and how do I trigger a pick for this variant. The WM transfer order neither the quant has any variant config information.

why do you expect any difference in the process? If the stock is posted to a warehouse managed storage location then you get a quant in WM as for any other standard material and you do exactly the same steps in WM.

ok...but if I have 10 variants of the same mtl how will the system know in which bin which variant is located ?

do you want to say you are using variant configuration without batch management, or that several variants have the same batch number?

Hello G S,

WM quant information is typically on Material level and per my understanding VC attributes does not play any role here.

It would be interesting to know how you adopted WM for this situation.
