Error getting while using URL of SUM tool

Hello everyone,

I am facing the issue while applying support patch to solution manager using SUM tool release of SP16_patch8.

I am using Solution manager 7.1 and saphostagent version :7.20 patch number 87

While using the URL of sum tool for the usage i m getting error and the error is mentioned below

I given host name and SID .For confidential purpose i didn't mentioned in URL.

URL:1.https://<HOSTNAME>:1129/lmsl/sumjava/<SID>/dual.html

        2.http://<HOSTNAME>:1128/lmsl/sumjava/<SID>/dual.html

Error:

For first URL:It is unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at <Hostname>:1129.

    The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

    If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.

    If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

For second URL mentioned error:

XML Parsing Error: no element found

Location: http://<Hostname>:1128/lmsl/sumjava/SID/dual.html

Line Number 1, Column 1:

Request You to Please give me the solution ASAP.I am in need of it.

Problem resolved,I solved the issue got the solution .

For SUM SP16 new version minimum requirement of Kernel is 7.21 version and SAPHOSTAGENT 7.21 version with patch number 3 or more ,these are the minimum requirements.

So I upgraded SAPHOSTAGENT and Kernel to newer version hence the URL worked out.

I tried what are the steps mentioned in the link which you shared but it didn't worked out.

Again i am getting same error.

What if you restart instance and try to run SUM tool on server?
