Archiving Customer Tables (Y*, Z*) with ILM

Hi,

With standart ADK, it is only possible to archive customer tables (aka Y* Z* tables) if you create customer Archiving Objects (AO's).

What if we want to use ILM in our Data Archive Project?

Slide from ILM (above) lets you feel that it is possible to archive/decommission any table from source system to storage system e.g. Sybase IQ

Hi Bilgen,

Above diagram is to explain about the decomissioning the legacy system using Landscape Transformation technology.

In live system if you want to archive custom tables, you have to create your own objects. But remember, SAP support is only to standard archiving objects.

Thanks,

Bala.
