Hi Guru's
we have a requirement to regulary do a check on the DP PDS (components) and the SNP PDS, as these are not automatically synched.
befoore startign a custom report does any of you have experience in this requirement?
Thanks,

Hello,
Do you have any inconsistency for DP and SNP PDS components?
Are you create DP PDS by using report /SAPAPO/CURTO_CREATE_DP_RTO?

Hi R.
not as much inconsistencies as there may be changes in the BoMs in ECC that get pushed to SNP but then also need to be reflected in DP PDS.
we are not generating DP BoM in an automated way because we had several issues whit DP BoM and CVC creation. So we are using the report you mention but as an end user transaction with checks between. So it would be good to know when to do an update by doing a comparison.
Unfortunately planners are not always updated when master data changes. That should be the proper solution of course....

Arjen
Hello,
Program /SAPAPO/CURTO_CREATE_DP_RTO has an option to update the DP PDS You can schedule the background job for program /SAPAPO/CURTO_CREATE_DP_RTO with update DP PDS option on regular interval. Else you can develop custom program for DP PDS comparison like /SAPAPO/CURTO_ORDER_EXPLODE - Comparison of PP/DS Production Data Structure.

Hi R.
Initially we do not want to run anything in batch or at least not as long as we cannot manage proper selection. As we cannot use a selection profile or SNP planner codes or similar items in the update the only option we have fr now s to do it by product. And for that we need a report.
I think I will have to check with technical team what the best option is, comparing ECC against DP PDS of SNP PDS against DP PDS.
Thanksk for sharing your thoughts.
Arjen
