Random 'cartesian product' error in IDT universe

Hi guys

My users have been getting 'cartesian product' error in Webi when they run queries from a particular universe.

Sometimes the query runs fine and sometimes it displays the expected results.

I tested the same query in pre-prod and it works fine. We are on BO 4.1 SP3.

Could someone help me on this issue?

Cheers

Hi,

is there any standalone table in the universe which is not joined with other tables.check if you have dragged the objects which are based on the standalone table.

This is happened when standalone table objects are dragged in one webi query along with some other objects.

Hi Amit

Yes there is a standalone table in the dfx for lov values..

I don't know why it was developed like that ... how do I prevent users to use this table?

Hi,

if you are using this table for lovs only then follow this step and try.

Navigation: Select the Data Foundation -> Click in the SQL Options tab->Select the check box allows Cartesian products
