Integration with SAP HANA

Hi HANA experts,

I'm new to HANA. and working on IDM tool which need to integrate with SAP HANA.

For this, I need to read the User info and assigned roles. So basically, I need to export a part of security information which has Users and Roles information to a 3rd party tool from where the request to modify / update user roles could be done.

Is this scenario possible ?

Hello Naresh,

On 55-57 pages of the presentation "SAP Identity Management Connector Overview" SAP IDM connectivity to SAP HANA DB is described.

I think 3rd party IDMs can also connnect to HANA DB if they have connectors to HANA DB.

Hi Yuksel,

Thanks for your response. SAP IDM is closely integrated with all platforms of SAP but as a 3rd party applicatoin,  I need services for the below mentioned features.

- Reading of users

- Add / delete users

- Set/change password

- Reading of Roles and Role Assignments

- Add / remove Role assignments

Its exactly the functionality that I'm looking for. Are there standard services available ? or do we need to develop the services in HANA Studio or Web IDE ?
