Error In statistics Tab in LTR Configuration

Former Member

Hello Experts,

I am new to SAP HANA and we are using SLT To load data from non-sap system(Oracle)

to load data to hana system, when configuring SLT using LTR we are getting a error in Statistics tab

I have attached the screen shot, and the tables(DD02L,DD02t & DDo8L) are not getting populated in Data Provisioning in

sap hana studio

I think the issue is with privileges for the schema i created, i am using system user but still not able to access the same

Could you please help.

Thanks & Regards,

Kishore

Hi Kishore,

The ECC user you are using don't have enough authorization.

You need to assign him the role SAP_IUUC_REPL_REMOTE .

Hello Kishor,

You need to make sure that the user that is used for connecting via RFC have the required authorization. this user is the user that goes to the ECC system via RFC connection and tries to create the triggered and logging tables.

1. login to ECC --> goto SM66 check which user id coming inRFC from SLT system.

2. provide required authorization to the user mentioned in RFC.

Else

restart the replication for a perticular table... just to regenerate the error msg.

goto SU53 and check authorization for the RFC user coming from SLT system.

Let me know if this help you.

Hi Kishore,

Once you got the roles added.

Stop the replication of that table and put again in replication.

Hi Kishore,

Please check if your LTRS system should have enough work processes (via SM50) and check how many background process you have.

Also, make sure that DB user in target HANA should have below privileges:

CREATE SCHEMA

ROLE ADMIN

USER ADMIN

This error happened on the ECC side so let's focus on this system.

Any more information on the SM21 ?

Can you try to assign SAP_ALL  to ALEREMOTE ? just to validate that this is an authorization issue.

The role SAP_IUUC_REPL_REMOTE  was assigned to this user ?

Frederic

Hi Kishore,

Proper approach would be create DB user with above privileges and let LTRS handle the replication user creation automatically (with required authorizations) and schema.

In your case, please make sure that your user TESTECC should have:

Authorizations:

SELECT authorization on table SYS_REPL.RS_REPLICATION_COMPONENTS to read SAP LT RS configuration info.

Roles:

TESTECC_DATA_PROV

TESTECC_POWER_USER

TESTECC_USER_ADMIN

TESTECC_SELECT_USER

Give SAPL_ALL and SAP_NEW to RFC user from source system.

If still error comes then send the screenshot.

Hello Kishor,

I would agree with Frederik, please concentrate on ECC system roles... for simplicity follow below approach..

1. Stop the replication for all the DD* table from ltrc--> goto table overview --> select data provisioning --> give table names and select stop replication.

once replication is stooped that table entry be no longer will available in LTRC tcode table overview

2. goto ECC system start the system trace for authentications --> check the authentication for the user which is used in RFC to connect from slt to ECC system.

3. set up same tracing for background user in SLT system.

4. once done start the replication of the DD* tables in LTRC one after the another. and then check the roles and the authorization missing

5. assign the required authss and then try.. again

Please let us know the result preferable would be error screen shot,.

Hello BJ,

I tried replicating and load data from MARA table in ecc to hana DB, i am getting the below error

i went to ecc to check the status in tcode IUUC_Remote, there are no triggers for table MARA

I think the system is not able to create automatically triggers for MARA table.

I searched a lot but of no use

Hi Kishore,

Please add SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW in profiles not in roles.

Then once again, stop the erroneous table and replicate.

Hello BJ,

Please find all the screen shot as attached

I am still getting the same error, i followed the steps provided by all in this blog.

I opened sql editor on system login and tried providing privileges to this user but it saying authorization issues, please find the screen shot attached.

And for aleromote user in ecc there is no sap_new or SAP_All roles so I added almost 650 roles available in ECC but still same error.

Thanks & Regards,

Kishore

Hi Shakthi,

Hi Kishore,

Non SAP system will not have tables DD02L,DD02t & DDo8L and these table are only required when loading data from SAP system.

These SAP tables holds table definition.

Thanks,

Shakthi Raj Natarajan.
