ChaRM: how to lock import of "External TR" in QAS

Hi expert,

The case is the following:

- I have a CD in state "In Development"

- The CD contains 1 TR

- I add an "External TR" in the CD

- The "External TR "was already released" in its original DEV system.

- When I add the "External TR " on the CD , SAP puts it in the import queue of QAS.

- Now I have 2 TR in the CD. One is modifiable and the other is already released for imports in QAS.

- The CD is still in the "In Development".

- I have a JOB scheduled, it executes the automatic import into the quality system.

- JOB finds the External TR in the queue and import it in QAS.

- SolMan 7.1 SP13

Request:

Can I customize the CHARM to block the import of external TR in QAS until the CD both in the "Pass Change to Test"?

The External TR must not go QAS before the other.

Please help me.

Hi Silvio,

yes it is possible and you can setup status dependent import

so for status e.g. TO BE TESTED is set for 1 CD and for other CD it is In Development

only the TR for TO BE TESTED will be imported irrelevant of the case where we might have other released TRs for In Development status CD as well.
