SAP PO system performance degradation

Hi Experts,

We have noticed in our PO system that long running thread count is increasing in number whenever we check in system overview in NWA.

Dedicated Workers thread are also increasing in number in red status.

Can you please suggest what can be the possible reason of this? And what parameters can be analysed to solve this issue.

Hi Experts,

Sometimes in the NWA logs, we see errors "SystemMessageProcessor.openConnection() : Failed to open a connection" while connecting to server for the reason "connection refused".

Can you pls help to understand the possible reasons for the same?

Hello Danish,

It might be due,

1.Target server down.

2.Your User ID is not having required roles.

Try checking with XPI inspector.

Thanks for your response.

However, yesterday i was able to see the logs in NWA but today i didn't face the same error log.

Moreover, I am not able to see yesterday log but before and after time logs I can still see except this error log.

Does error log disappear after getting the connection? What could be the reason?

Check the entire logs.

Might be after 2-3 retries connection would have been successful
