Hi All,
We know a bunch of the Distribution lists used currently but could not find the SAP Background jobs they are linked to ?
Note: They did not have a naming convention to find out from the Distribution list.
In other words, If we know a Distribution List from the Tcode SBWP can we figure out the Background job it is associated with ?
thanks
Abhishek
Hi,
It looks bit difficult to figure out the batch jobs with reference to distribution list.
Have you checked it with Basis if they know ?

Hey ,
Here is the solution:
Table SOOD has all the system defined Distribution List - OBJTP = DLI and OBJNAM = Distribution List Name.
Table TBTCO has a Field - RECOBJTYPE = RECIPIENT and RECOBJKEY = concatenation of SOOD-OBJTP, SOOD-OBJYR, SOOD-OBJNO and something ( denote it by Asterisk * )
I was able to map to Background jobs from the distribution list
Note: for those of you who have read this thread before this message was last edited.
SAP HR provides an option to generate an email through dynamic Actions (Hence these were not found in the Table TBTCO, since background jobs are not scheduled)
Closing the Thread.
