MRP Fiori Cockpit - Managing Project stock, not just plant stock?

I asked this question in the "Fiori" area of the SCN, but had no responses, I hope someone in the S/4HANA area can help me here:

"I am looking at the MRP cockpit for a manufacturing client, and they would like to know if it's possible to manage Project Stock through the Fiori MRP Cockpit/one of the MRP apps on S/4HANA on-premise.

From my investigations I believe the answer is currently "no", but I'd like some confirmation of this please, to be sure that Fiori can/cannot be used in this scenario.

Is anyone able to confirm how a client would monitor and manage their plant stock, if not through the MRP cockpit? Are the backend transactions for this available?

SAP have confirmed that for now Fiori MRP cockpit (along with a number of other material management apps) can only manage plant stock, not project stock.

This is very frustrating for clients who use project stock.
