I defined my PI/XI system in R/3 system SM59 inside below
Rfc Destinations
HTTP Connections to R/3 System
PI/XI definition
Test connection fails to XI system. I checked username, password, ip address
all is correct.I'm using PIAPPLUSER . This user was defined at the both end (R/3 and XI).
What can I do for achieving R/3 - XI connection.Vice versa is properly running.
PIAPPLUSER
role:SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER
profile:SAP_ALL
T_YB250030
When I use PIAPPLUSER connection is fail.
If I use most autorized user connection is successfull.
In addition which role or profile must be added to PIAPPLUSER
thanks

HI,
Check the IP address and the connection type and the uid and the Pwd , try to enter in capital letters.

Hi,
Check if the user is locked or not.
Also check if password is incorrect/expired or not.
Check Service No./Path prefix also.
Simplest way to check these is to paste the URL with port no. from SM59 into explorer, and give a correct username/password.
