Dear All,

we have 5 Logistic Id and 5 Finance Id.

But, we found some of the users are changing the master data itself. Example: Changing Item Description, BP Name, GL account Name, etc..

We don't want to give authorization of updating master data to end user.

it should possible from , only manager ID or some professional Id.

Please help.

Thanks,

M G Hegde

Hello Mr.Hegde

You can create Authorization Groups, select the users in that group.

In General Authorizations, Group Tab-> select the group and make authorization as Read Only.

Hope this will work for you!!!!.

Hi Hegde,

You can set authorization for all your Logistics and finance users to read mode.

Go to Administration --> System Initialization --> Authorizations--> General Authorizations

On left pane select particular user and on his Right Panel change Authorization of Business Partner to read only.

Do this for all your Logistics and Finance User.

Hope this will helpful to you.
