Maintenance Order Dates different than operation dates

Hi all,

I have searched numerous threads for Basic start data and finish, but i have not find any solution to the following issue:

I have an order type with forward scheduling and in creation i give as start i,e 10.04.16 and finish 20.04.16.

However, the operation date takes as basic start and finish the current date and not the header dates.

I have gone through thread but no solution.

Can you please help me.

Hi all,

I believe it has something to do with the scheduling. Here are my screens:

In the "Dates" area on the order header screen, click the "Show further scheduling data" icon and post a screen shot of the full "Dates" data.

Hi Ali,

" Default current date as Basic Date. This setting will not affect, you have to maintain Basic Start Date manually then.

In my system your scenario is working fine with below setting.

Not sure what you have missed. Please share your Header screen shot.

Sunil

Hi Ali,

I am not really sure but Could you please try by unchecking the " dafault current date as basic date for your particuar Plant in following customizing path.

PM-CS - Maintenance and Service Orders - General Data - Activate Default Value for Current Date as Basic Date.

Hi Ali,

Operation dates will change once you define the work, also on the operating time of work center.

If your work center operation time is 8h, work define for operation as 10h then Operation Start Date will be today's date and Ende Date will be tomorrow's.

Sunil

Hi Sunil,

I am setting as PM order start 10.04. Why in operation it takes 18.04 automatically? i do not have any scheduling in my work center. I do not have any capacity checks etc.

Thank you

Hi Ali,

Double click the operation and click dates tab, share the screenshot

Check whether any Restriction like Start Point / End is set

Hi Ali,

Your operation dates will change to as per Basic Date once you save the order. Automatic Scheduling should be active in configuration for Plant and Order Type combination ( T code: OPU7). If not then manually schedule the order.

Sunil
