Dears,
Please i need to Create a the following Structure
Configurable Material (With Variants) -- Level 1
Configurable Material (With Variants) -- Level 2
Configurable Material (With Variants) -- Level 3
Raw Materials ( Selected using VC) -- Level 4
is this structure applicable in SAP ? or not ?
BR,
Salah
A configurable material can be at lower level of another configurable material , but if ypu add a configurable material in low level of non configurable material , it looses its configuration feature.
It will work
Configurable Material -- Level 1
Configurable Material -- ( Selected using VC through level 1 )Level 2
Configurable Material ( Selected using VC through level 1 or 2 )-- Level 3
Configurable Raw Materials ( Selected using VC through level 1 , 2 or 3 ) -- Level 4
Thanks
Ritesh

Replacing KMAT with material variant works fine in sales order , but when you try to do it in multilevel structure (BOM or production order) you may face many complications.
Note: Material variant dont have a configuration profile maintained and that how there will not be any VC structure below a material variant , once you reach that level , there can be a fix BOM only.
Hope you got my point.
