/437 is not getting generated

Hi Friends ,

I am not getting the tax rebate ,  budget 2290356 from 2000 - 5000 .The taxable income in the payroll run shows  the below calculations.

Gross Salary               518604

Exemption U/S10          19200

Balance                       499404

Prof Tax                          2400

Aggrg Deduction             2400

Income Under

Hd Salary                    4T970004

Gross total Income      4970004

Agg Of Chap VI               32640

Total Income                464360

Tax on Total Inc            21436

Tax Payable and

surcharge                      22080

Income Tax                     1840

Can anyone please explain  if I am missing something? what is the exact criteria to see the rebate ? /437 is in the payslip . I checked the RT table and it does not show /437.

Hi Sandhya,

Kindly check V_T7INT1, for Slab Code CR01 slab type is "Tax credit rates" is maintained. V_T7INT3 value is maintained as per the PDF in attachment in note 2290356 - Union Budget changes 2016.

Hi Karthik ,

I had missed delimiting  CR01 and hence the issue. rechecked in the document and changed.

Hi Karthik ,

I have changed the tables/views V_T7INT1  and V_T7INT3 for SR05 code as mentioned in the manual changes in the note . But the system still calculates 12% of surcharge and not 15 %.

Can you suggest why?

Hi Karthik,.

Thanks for all your help. I did check the configuration . Everything was working correctly. I was unable to follow the /448 , but understood after debugging intax function with the help of my Abaper.

The wiki also was helpful in understanding the same.
