Failed to Convert to Multiplex

I am running IQ 16 SP08 on Windows server 2008 64bit. I just tried to add secondary node using SCC and got following error. It says "failed to run Dbbackup command". Details of the log is below.

When I try again, now I get a different error which I attached as an image file

Hi,

The server shuts down to re-initialize the server as a multiplex coordinator. (As a normal part of this shutdown, when the first secondary node is created, Interactive SQL may return a disconnected (-308) error that requires no corrective action.)

So you make sure that coordinator is running.

Are there any error logs in agent log file?

Here is a way to create multiplex with command.

Thanks for the reply.

As noted in my post, coordinator node comes online just fine. It fails on command dbbackup. I have also posted agent log in the post.

Do the nodes have proper connectivity?  Are the server host names that you used in the configuration defined on all MPX nodes?  Usually, this type of "cannot connect" means that the node we have defined as say 'iqnode1' is not defined in DNS or the hosts file and so it cannot be seen.

Yes Mark. I can ping each other just fine with IP or DNS Names. I can also telnet to agent port successfully. As you can see from Agent Log, coordinator node is able to communicate with secondary node just fine and fails at dbbackup command.

It looks like multiplex was created but not working properly.

Below is the output of sp_iqmpxinfo.
