Hi Experts,

Reserved stock we can see in CO09 Transaction.

Normally 3 ways we can reserve the stock

1. 412 Movment type with Special stock E at MB1B

2. Directly we save the delivery with out doing PGI.

3. By using the check box include sales req option at OVZ9.

Now I have used the second option, but in CO09 not able to find reserved stock against sales order.

Did I miss anything ?

Thanks in advance.

Dear,

1. 412 Movment type with Special stock E at MB1B

You can find the stock in CO09

2 Directly we save the delivery with out doing PGI.

You can find MMBE Transaction /MD04 in schedule delivery option field.

No idea On 3rd one.

Amith,

I have used CO09 for years, and I have never seen a field in this screen entitled 'reserved stock' (whatever that means).  Can you please elaborate your problem?

Dear Dogboy,

In my business some sales orders are getting reserved by below given ways.

1. 412 Movment type with Special stock E at MB1B

2. Directly we save the delivery with out doing PGI.

3. By using the check box include sales req option at OVZ9.

Now my question is, once saved sales orders for reservations,How we can find reserved stock against sales orders ?

I am checking in CO09..Please let me know If I am wrong

Amith,

You have to define exactly what you mean by 'sales orders are getting reserved'.

Items 1, 2 & 3 in your list do not in and of themselves 'reserve' stock.  Some of these 3 items may, under certain circumstances, reduce the ATP quantity, and thereby prevent additional ATP confirmations, which I assume is somehow related to your question.

CO09 will display the Availability situation, using SAP's AvailableToPromise technology.  You needn't tell me again that you want CO09 to display 'reserved' stock.  It doesn't.  In general, using the common definition of 'reserved', SAP has no capability to 'reserve' stock.  CO09 is handy to use to tell you how much of your existing and future supplies can be used to service new orders.

If it is your intention to prevent stock from being used, then one common method is to convert the stock to 'blocked' stock.  Both MRP and ATP can be configured to ignore such stock.
