Jcontrol.exe starts too late, Is it right?

Hello everyone,

I installed Netweaver04s' SP9 Sneak Preview J2EE version in my notebook computer based on Windows XP SP2.

After installation, jcontrol.exe needs about 30 minutes to start successfully.

At fisrt time, I guessed the installation was failed, but after about 30 minutes, jcontrol.exe successfully started.

In the log file, many "[Thr 3860] JControlMSReadMessage: NiPeek() received wakeup or ping -5 NIETIMEOUT" messages were logged.

How can i resolve the above TIMEOUT problem and how to speed up starting jcontrol.exe?

I guess there is some problem with your database confugurations,Please make sure it is correct and then start the instance in MMC.
