Dear Experts,

We are using SAP Landscape Virtualization Management 2.1 Enterprise edition.

Can anyone tell me is it possible to have SAP instance Restart/Availability Instance state in Reports option???

I am able to set dashboards with instance state and instance availability but management wants to have these SAP instance start stop information in LVM reports option.

I m attaching screenshot of my LVM Reports tab drill down please suggest the solution from where i can have Reports with instance availbilty.

Best Regards,

Qazi Jamil

Hello Qazi Jamil,

this is currently not possible with Reports. We are aware of the limitations and are working on new solutions.

What you could do, is go to monitoring, export the activities and use an external tool to filter for

start/stop/restart events.

Kind Regards

Dear Michael,

Thanks for your timely response. Is there any SAP NOTE on these limitations? it would be more easy for me to answer management with SAP NOTE.

Secondly, please tell me what would be the SAP plan to overcome this limitations? Fulfill in new LVM Version or part of some other product?

Waiting for your response.
