New Status service desk

Hi All,

Can we create a new status in service desk.

Currently we have new-in process-cutomer action-sent to sap and confirmed.

But if i want to create a new status is it possible.

I tried creating from spro solman->service desk->user status

But in service desk

text is not coming and i don;t know whether even i can go for new actions depending upon this status.

Please tel me step by step.

Hey Prakash,

GO toSpro-> Solution Manager-> Scenario Specific Settings->Service Desk

->Status Profile->Change User Status For Status Profile..

1) Copy the Standard Status Profile for SLFN Transaction( I dont remember the Name of the status profile for SLFN, To find out the name Follow->Spro->Customer Relationship Management->Transactions->Basic Settings->Define Transaction types. Now GO to SLFN and Click on the Details Button. There u can find the Status Profile attached to the Transaction type..)

2)Copy the Status Profile Found obove and Create a New Z Status Profile..

Include your Statues in this Status Profile..

3)Dont forget to assign this newly status profile to Transaction type SLFN.

U can do this Assignment by following the path given in Step 1).

4)And then You can then use this status in actions as well..

Create Start Or Schedule conditions...

While Creating this conditions, when u double click on user status in Condition editor then you will be prompted for Status Profile, here u should mention the newly created status profile.
