Early watch Alerts wrong report

Hello Experts,

We have configured EWA reports in our Project, It was working fine till last month. For our ECC production system we are now getting wrong report. The report is having our Production system SID but report inside contains different system details(It is having our Production clone details) can anyone help us to analyse where the setting might have changed for this changes in reports.

I have checked the system assigned in Logical Component, Solution assigned, Technical System. I don't find any issue there and it is having Production system details only. Please help!

Check note  1257308 - FAQ: Using EarlyWatch Alert

• Identical SID and installation number:
  • Cloned productive systems with identical SID and installation number: as a workarround process the EarlyWatch Alert in different Solution Managers.

            If you connect two systems with the same < Installation Number> and <SID> to a Solution Manager the EarlyWatch Alert report will contain a mixture of data from both systems. The data displayed will change randomly every week. E.g. status of the system on the cover page might either be shown as 'Productive' or 'Not Productive'. The number of active users may be very low if data from the standby system are shown.

So either stop EWA for clonned system or get EWA from different solution manager if possible.

Hi Rakesh,

Please check if RFCs between Solman system and ECC production system are working fine and no changes are done recently( ex. Change in host and system details).

Also go to SDCCN in ECC production system and check if data is getting sent to Solman correctly.
