Item doesn't appear on MRP Run.

Hi Everyone,

Issue: Item doesn't appear on MRP RUN, not creating any planned orders for the current demand.

There was 8 available quantity (4 in blocked stock, 4 in quality).

ROP is 5, Max Stock level 8, Lot size(Replenish to max. stock level).

Requirement was 10, so need 2 quantity to fulfill the requirement.

They created 2 Direct issue POs(from SRM with external suppliers option) combineley 11 quantity. But as they are directly procured and related to WBS account, so they don't affect "available quantity", Then Why system is not creating any Planned orders while doing MRP run?

Please clarify my doubts.

Hi,

What is your MRP type?

You have Max stock level 8 but what is Min stock level ?

Keep a value  in Min stock level and then run MRP.

Hello

It seems that you are running a reorder point MRP type, which means that the MRP type customizing (OMDQ) determines if MRP will consider external requirements or not.

On the MRP type customizing, you can choose if the external requirements will be considered or not and you can also choose exactly which ones will be considered by MRP. Unfortunately, you can only choose to consider stock transfer requisitions releases or stock transfer order releases, but not releases of stock transfer planned orders.

This is our MRP type customizing screenshot:

So you mean to say:

1) Release order for Stock transfer Planned Order is not considered as an external requirement in MRP type Run?  But in screenshot it checked for Release order for stock transfer is this field is different from stock trans planned order rel?

2) Even though direct issue POs from SRM is available in MD04 screen, they are not affecting "available stock"? and If MRP is not considering PlORel field as an external requirement. Then Planned Orders for the above material won't create as of now.

Please confirm my doubts.

Hello

There is no field to make a planned order release as a relevant external requirement. There are only fields to make stock transfer order (PO) releases or stock transfer requisitions releases relevant as external requirements.

So you mean to say that, we can't create any planned orders for the requirement of (Stock Transfer Planned Orders), is it?

In these cases we need to procure stock from Direct Issue POs?

Could you share the selection parameters of MRP Run? Initial Screen of MD01 or MD41, usually it is maintened through initial screen.
