Hi Everybody,

sorry for the stupid question.

I have installed BI suite 4.2 version and I'm looking for Information Design Tool

Is it in a different installation? Is that in SAP Data Services Installation?

Any help is really appreciated

It is installed with BI Clients package

Hi Ercole,

As you wrote you have installed BI Suite 4.2, I guess you installed in the server. but as SAP recommend for accessing the BO server you must have a client machine in which you need to install BO Client tool. After installing client tool you ll be able to get Information Designing Tool (IDT) in it.

Can I install the Client tool on the same server?

You can install but It is not recommend to install the client tool in the same machine.
