Tracelogs for web services (dsws, BIWS)

Hello all,

I am looking to turn on the tracing of webservices in BOBJ platform , not sure how to do it.

I already followed the note - 1384988 , and also enabled the webservices tracelog to High under applications of CMC. But, i am not seeing any logs under standard BOBJ Logging folder.

am i missing something, is there any document explains how to trace Bi webservices ?

web services are web apps, the traces fro them will be in the webapp trace folders, which are created on the root drive (usually) of the user that runs the web app server hosting those web services.

search for SBOP* directories and you'll locate those.

See KBA 1861180 - Customer instructions and best practice for collecting a BI Platform 4.x end to end trace , it shows where each type of log is located.

Awesome, yes you are right.

The logs are actually being recorded under Tomcat root
