Change in Licensing?

I just put in an order for PD through my company and was told that you can no longer buy individual licenses. Is that now the case? If so it is interesting that they would do that after discussions in this group that wanted to see a "consultant" type of license and the benefit to SAP. Have they changed the game?

Hi Randy,

We have simplified the pricing and packaging with PowerDesigner by only having one license type. With this new license metric you have flexibility in how the product can be deployed by either sharing/serving using the SySAM License Server, or you can node lock it for a specific machine.

Does that mean I have to be on the network to use it? Or does a locked license become portable?
