Hi experts,
We have implemented HR renewal UI5 application in portal. All the necessary configuration are done for task id TS12300097 ABAP WebDynpro.
The leave request is appearing for one user and it is coming in worklist of other user(approver) without any issue.
But when that worklist is opened from approver's worklist, it is showing Service cannot be reached. URL not available. 404 not found kind of error. When we opened the properties it is pointing to URL that is pointing to JAVA webdynpro application instead of ABAP Webdynpro. Also,we have maintained all the necessary visualization parameters for abap webdynpro in swfvisu transaction code correctly.
Can anyone come with any solution for this.
Thanks
Deepak
Hi Deepak,
After maintaining the details in SWFVISU, have you also re-registered the UWL Connector?
Re-registering the UWL Connector brings the SWFVISU configurations in Portal, which are actually used to render work items on click.

Rohit

Hi Deepak,
Can you switch on the support information for UWL.
Check which XML file is being read for the leave request work item.
If it is not the one which is generated by the re-registration of the connector, then you need to copy your XML and upload it with high priority.
Let me know in case you are still facing the issue.

Rohit
Hi Rohit,
We are aware of that process and we the respective XML file is only read for the work item. No problem with that.
1) Respective XML file is read for leave request work item
2) Visualization parameters are maintained in swfvisu
3) Re-registration and uwl cache clear done.
If anything needs to be maintained in extra kindly let me know. This application is webdynpro abap
Thanks
Deepak
Hi Deepak,
The above visualization parameters are maintained for Webdynpro Java application, which is why the Java application is being opened on clicking of your work item.
Please select the visualization type as Web Dynpro ABAP.
You will have to maintain the following parameters:
APPLICATION: <Enter the name of your WD ABAP application>
CONFIGURATION: <Enter the corresponding application configuration>
DYNPARAM: <Enter any dynamic parameters for the request>
PACKAGE: SAP
SYSTEM_ALIAS: <Enter system alias maintained on Portal for ECC>
However, if you want to use the application name maintained in the visualization parameters as mentioned in your screenshot, you will first have to make a page on Portal for the above application, and then set the link in visualization type: Portal Page.
Let me know if the above resolves your issue.
Best Regards,
Rohit
