Third party engagement in outbound delivery

When we create outbound delivery on base of Sales document . The Delivery quantity should be auto pick from Weighment machine for a particular item Code

please advice . what we have to do for it

The weighing machine is mostly automated by Weighbridge systems, which are of different types.

when you weigh a material in weighbridge system, you can collect the weight of the item.

You can pass the information to SAP and trigger an inbound IDOC to update the weigh quantity in the delivery document.

The weigh quantity = Weight passed by weighbridge system / Netweight of the material as maintained in material master.

I hope there are no UOM conversions. If so, you have to think of some complicated scenarios and build your solution accordingly.

Basically you need to think of SAP and the external system communicating with each other.
