BI 4.2 Oracle Connection Encryption

Good Morning All,

   Does anyone know if BI 4.2 supports FIPS 140-2 certified encryption on all Oracle connections? Thanks in advance!

Sorry, to clarify: BI supports FIPS 140-2 encryption from the BI side, but i'm looking into if the encryption on the Oracle side produces any problems with BI.

As long as the encryption is handled with by the Database, it does not matter for BO. The actual part that happens within the Database is abstracted to Business Objects

yes. This supports exists even in BI 4.0
