SAP fi certification for CA's

hi everyone

i m a ca final student and also taking training  for SAP Fi Certification exam

i want ask whether experience of article-ship under charted accountant will be considered  as domain experience or not.

Hi Saurabh,

CA- Articleship might not considered as a domain experience and it might be important in CA's life..

Some institutes like Siemens, Pearson they will provide certification oriented trainings and which will help you in your FI/CO certification process.

thanks for the reply

but i m little confuse about what is domain experience means in sap.

its experience of working in sap environment or only work experience in field  of

accounts and finance also counts.

Saurabh,

According to me, Domain exp is a person who is master or have grip in particular area or subject.

SAP Domain Exp. something you work in a module for certain period of time and you will be identified as Consultant/SME of that module.

You can suggest improvements to your clients, only when you know the pros and cons of a domain/process thoroughly.

So finally in your case, experience of working in Accounts, finance accounts called as "Domain exp",
which will be helpful  to build your SAP carrer.
