HI Guys

We have a requirement here view Webi or Dashboards on the mobile devices as well...

Just wondering what the new BO 4.2 can offer in terms of Webi reports on mobiles?

What about the Dashboard upgrade? Do we have a new dashboard designer now?

A lot has changed within the BI Mobile application since BI 4.0 to BI 4.2, have a look at the Mobile config guide for BI 4.2.   It also depends on what Mobile device you will use, Apple offer most functions, link below for more details

Thanks Ajay

So in our current BO version (4.1 SP3), how do I check if my webi reports are mobile device compatible?

Not ALL features of standard WebI are supported in Mobile, the links sent about expains.  You can also look at another link when Designing & Deploying especially for Mobile

You can also go through the the BI Mobile Tutorial for SIMPLE instructions

It's  very simple.

all of your reports are mobile device compatible. You can assign that report to the  mobile category

4.1 they have simplified a lot,  not like 4.0. You can create a mobile category if its not existed in bi platform . But its just creating a category folder as mobile type Category folder. It's a virtual folder. You assign your report to that virtual category folder

but when you are assigning bi mobile reports to the users make sure you are allowing the user rights for using mobile BI app in BI platform applications section.

As an admin you can do it and view it without above action.

there maybe a lot of changes in SAP BI mobile since SAP had aquired the best mobile BI product called ROAMBI . will wait and see.

for time being there is not much changes to wonder from 4.1 to 4.2 .    but when ever they update the mobile client update in AppStore ate and see some enhancements . Sap BO mobile is an evolving product from 4.0
