Hi,
Can anyone tell me the steps to perform client import?
I have understood till the export part where the co files and data files get transferred from the source system's db to
target system's import buffer
i am not sure about the import part
confused with the tcode stms
i type stms in the target system.
after that how do i go to the import overview and subsequently import the 3 TR's in the target system?
i need stepwise details
Regards,
Abhishek Gupta
Hi Abishek,
I think you have done upto Export. Listed the below steps for import
1. Log on to newly created target client
2. Goto STMS_IMPORT, Select particular TR generated by client export. Import that TR on the target client. (if you want check logs in STMS_IMPORT ).
3. Once the import is done, execute SCC7 to perform the post client import actions,
4. Schedule the post import job in background
5. see the Import log in SCC3. Client is successfully imported.
Thanks,

Hi Dhuvaraganathan,
Couple of questions
STMS and STMS_IMPORT are two different tcodes??
Assuming the answer is yes,the import would involve the following steps
Login to the target client
Execute the tcode SMTP_IMPORT
I will get the list of TR's
(here i will get the three requisite TR's)
Individually i select each one of the tr s and click on the truck button)
Did i go wrong somewhere??
