Effort booking for a particular resource

Hi All,

I want to know , How to capture the efforts booked for a particular resource, if the resource is deployed to different projects.

Can we capture the effort booking of a particular resource using Z programs and store the data in some Z tables, The data stored will be used to post the actuals on the project through KB21n using LSMW.

Is this possible , I need some inputs.

Hi

If by efforts you mean Man-hours / Work Hours (Time Entries) then Cross Application Time Sheets (CATS) can be explored and deployed.

The custom approach as mentioned in your post is very similar to MRS functionality (Multi resource scheduling).

Do read more on MRS & CATS as standard functionalities are good enough for efforts booking.

The thread pasted above gives a simple solution of Actual hours booking for WBS elements using KB21N.
