livecache 7.9 installation

Hi Guru's,

I am installing LC 7.9 on AIX machine with SCM 7.0 ehp3 ( SR1 installer).

after started ./sapinst , I am seeing the livecache server/client installation under all the databases ( DB2, Oracle , MaxDB, SQL ..etc) and its under ASE also. all these same only?

In SCM 7.0 ..It came under standalone engine...livecache runs on MaxDB.. In our landscacpe we run SCM 7.0 ehp3 on DB2.

which option do I need to choose for livecache 7.9 installation for SCM 7.0 ehp3.

i will appreciate all your inputs.

Dear Daniel,

livecache is running maxdb no matter which database you are running for SCM system.

Please refer to the attached screenshot from my testing system to install livecache server:

Should I have to choose the MaxDB for running the installation..or I can do by choosing the ASE> SAP system>Livecache server installation
