Subcontracting case with Source Location in P/DS

Hi, Yes, Production version being created on plant level and the header being not created on vendor location, (only component created on vendor location), I did not though to find the PPM there .... Thank you very much Other question but may be I have to create an other question ? I have seen that the stocked component ( delivered to subcontractor to deliver the hearder product) are CIFed to the plant location . I expected it to be rather CIFed to vendor location since immediate replinishment takes place on vendor location, I imagine the User exit on stock has to be used to get the stock on vendor location

Hi Christine,

Generally, component stock will stay at Plant Location. When immediate planning is triggered for the component at Vendor Location during creation of subcontracting orders, stock transfers will be generated to deliver it to the Vendor.This way, it's also possible to model and consider the transport time between Plant and Vendor.
