Create delivery group is not working

Hi ,

we have a issue where we check create delivery group in item category in BOM header,

When we place a order for the BOM material

Header

sub item - 1

Sub item - 2

Sub item - 3  ----> No stock.

Still delivery is getting

Header

Sub item - 1

Sub item - 2

Issue is delivery should be created , but still it is getting created ,

Can any one advise and suggest accordingly

Additionaly:

In case of a delivery group, it is possible to break a group in foreground delivery processing (still recorded in error log) and incomplete group is rejected in background delivery creation.

Hi,

I faced a similar issue that the delivery group was not generated for BOMs despite the activation in BOM header item cat. (Create Delivery Group = X).

I realised that the root cause was that order had at the same time Header Complete Delivery flag active.

When this flag was removed, the Delivery Group started to be generated for BOM header and components (visible in Shipping Overview tab).

Are you creating the delivery with VL10A or with VL01N?

Any messages in the creation log?

Hi,

In your Sales Order - Overview Screen- Shipping Tab against the Material number can you see any Delivery Group  maintained?
