Unable to create Thing Based Navigation Screens

Hi All,

My scenario is to create thing based navigation screen from my custom BO. Below is the link which I used as a  reference to create Thing Based UI screens.

But on clicking the New button I am not able to navigate to the QC screen. I have followed the steps as in the video. Any suggestions as to where I could have gone wrong ?

Hello Srinivasan,

Please go to DataModel tab in UI Designer and from the Data Model select the Alternative Key of your BO and then send me the properties screenshot.

Hi Meghna,

I have done the changes you have mentioned. But now when I preview my OWL screen my New Button is not visible. Any idea why this has happened?

Have you assigned the Custom WCView to your user?

Not yet I am previewing it inside c4c or by right clicking it and clicking Preview Screen.

Hello Srinivasan,

The New button won't be available until you have access to the WCView i.e., it's assigned to your user.

Have you already assigned the ThingType to the alternative key of your BO? Please provide some screenshots.

Thank you for your suggestion. The ThingType is assigned to my alternative key.

I have highlighted the main configuration to be done as in the video reference.
