high availability for SAP applications

Does SAP have a built in features to run it as active/standby mode ... to deploy each application module on different nodes & load - will balancer be used to switch users from failed node to still alive node... do we have to use Cluster SW to maintain this HA?

Hi Leonette.

Yes, SAP ERP Central & Database instance can be install in Cluster environment with active / active mode. We have installed in Windows 2008 R2 Failover Cluster environment.
