Backup storage location for 1+1 instance

Hi,

I have a quick question. A 1+1 instance: Main node and standby is set up. I'm referring to the SAP Fiber Channel Storage connector Admin Guide 

in the link: http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1900823

The documentation says that the backup location must be available in the same location on each node.  This makes sense where there are more than 1 worker nodes, but in a 1+1 configuration, the backup filesystem can failover to the standby in the same way that log and data does.  Is this correct? 

Please guide me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Hello Apoorva,

For one instance with addtional standby, the data and log volumes should also be access by standby.

During failover, the standby node can mount the volumes.
