Hey,
I just registered a gateway service with T-Code /iwfnd/maint_service .
But when I click on 'Call Browser' it tells me that the "service cannot be reacher" ... "HTTP 403 - Forbidden".
Before I could register my service I had to add a new system alias, because there didn't exist any.
So I created a system alias called 'LOCAL'. Because that's what was used in most tutorials.
Maybe I made there a mistake why the service cannot be reached.
Can anybody tell me how to correctly add a 'LOCAL' system alias? Or is there a different reason why the service is not reachable?
I'm thankful for any hints about this issue.
Regards,
Dominic

Hi Dominic,
Is your service visible in /iwfnd/maint_service.
If yes, check the system alias by selecting the service and add system alias with LOCAL.
If the service is not visible in /iwfnd/maint_service, click on Add service button and type LOCAL at system alias->press enter. It will show all local services and then activate the service.
If you are sure about the system alias take the help of F4 in system alias field of Add service.
Thanks
Ananda
