SAP GUI JAVA clipboard and se80

Hi everybody,

it seems like the field to select the object to edit within se80 (HTML-Control)

has its own clipboard. Copy and paste doesn´t work from any source to

the field and vice versa.

Has anybody else discovered this?

System:

Fedora 22

Kernel: 4.3.6-201.fc22.x86_64

JAVA: 1.8.0_73

GUI: SAPGUI7.40rev7

Hello Henry,

This used to be an issue in the JVM related to interoperability of the clipboard of a JavaFX component and Swing components.

(The input field in SE80 is part of an HTML form which is displayed in the html control. This is based on JavaFX, while the rest of SAP GUI for Java is Swing)

With newer JVMs, it seems that Oracle has solved this.

I tried with JRE 1.8.0U77 and its works for me. Maybe you can try this version as well.

Best regards

Hello Henry,

I got a similar issue, if you use F1-Help on a field it is not possible to copy&paste the text of the popup.

Maybe it is worth to open another support message.

@Rolf-Martin: What do you think?

Kind regards from Hamburg

Hello Henning,

Please refer to my other reply.

If 1.8.0U77 does not help, please describe steps in detail.

Best regards

Hi Henning,

I tried it an can confirm copy&paste from the F1-Dialog to almost any

target doesn´t work.

However - after applying JAVA 1.8.0U77 as stated by

Rolf-Martin this is now working as well on our site.
