HANA XS Advanced Command Line - Untrusted Certificate

Hey folks,

I have just installed SPS11 + XS Advanced. I am now trying to connect using the xs command line tool:

xs login

API_URL> https://hanadev:30030

FAILED: SSL connection error (supposedly untrusted connection, check the certificates)

Has anyone run in to this? This is just a sandbox system so I'm not to worried about getting a valid cert - if there's a way to ignore invalid certificates then I'm OK with that for now.

For production - I will obviously need a valid certificate. What are the steps to install a new cert?

Hello Lucas,

as described in note 2242468 there exists the option "--skip-ssl-validation". The note contains also information regarding the certificate configuration. More information can be found in note 2243019.

Regards,

Florian
