How to sort a crosstab by 2 dimensions/measures

Hello guys,

I'm developing a simple crosstab to show the sales evolution of ous customers within a year. We would like a crosstab like:

Here is the table as default, with sorting the MONTH dimension

What we want is to sort the table / Datasource, first by MONTH and later by Measure: Sales.

The problem is that I can only sort by one thing, I cannot make a priority sorting or something like this. If I try to sort by Sales, the MONTH dimension lose the correct order.

The questions are:

- There is a way to sort the crosstab by 2 or more Dimensions / Measures at the same time?

- In addition to this question, there is a way to not show in the crosstab the clients with blank values? Like client D (no sales)

I've aready searched through the scn but I didn't find any solution to this.

I'm working with HANA as a DataSource.

Thanks.

There isn't a way to accomplish this with the native tool? I consider this requirement a very basic and needed feature...

Hello Alejandro,

the standard table is a crosstab. it doesn't provide sorting for multiple columns at the same time.

Hello Alejandro,

You can place this idea in Idea place: https://ideas.sap.com/SBODesignStudio

Yes! this is one of the needed feature.

As of now only workaround from native tool is, export this crosstab to excel and do sorting.

I know, it will be tedious to export every time to excel for sorting

Thanks & regards,
