Idea/Suggestion--- Career roadmap

Hi Folks,

I am a SAP BW/BI consultant currently working on SAP BW platform and on SAP traditional OLTP systems (ECC). Could you please give me some guidance on what topics do I have to learn to stay competitive in this fast changing world.

Please see below are my thoughts/ideas.

1. I Would like to focus on BW on HANA. However, how sap S/4 Hana is different from this? If I have to learn HANA from BW/BI prespective what would be the ideal topic to learn?

2. I am also interested in SAP HANA and big data integration. What are the ideal topics/tools I need to learn?

3. Will Cloud surpass on-premise in future? what are the could related topics to learn for a BI consultant.

4. Also please let me know what are the reporting tools I need to focus on.

From my point of view you should start with the last 2 I named... I started with "hana3" above to get some ideas about the differences to BW in General and I was totally lost...

In total, you have to keep in mind "SAP HANA" (not BW on HANA) is Version 1.0, SP11 available as of now... so it is quite "new". BW on HANA starts with 7.40.
